Prototype status
SafeSignal is a functional on-device product prototype. It is not a monitored lone-worker service and has no guaranteed service availability, alarm delivery, supervisor response, or emergency dispatch.
No automatic response
The browser does not call emergency services or automatically send an SMS, phone call, email, or push alert to the emergency contact. A warning shown on this device is not proof that another person knows help may be needed.
Workplace procedures remain essential
SafeSignal does not replace risk assessment, training, supervision, permits, communication equipment, rescue arrangements, emergency procedures, or controls required by an employer, client, regulator, or local law. Do not use it as the only control where rapid rescue or reliable remote monitoring is required.
Device readiness
The user is responsible for checking battery, connectivity, browser storage, GPS and notification permissions, sound settings, and a backup communication method. Browser and operating-system restrictions can suspend background behavior.
Local requirements
Employers and workers must confirm the law, industry rules, contractual requirements, and workplace procedures that apply to their location and activity. SafeSignal makes no claim of ISO certification or universal legal compliance.
